I’m part of a collaborative project called Raganova, formed with my good friend Mason Lucas. We aim to entone diverse soundscapes fusing South American, Indian, and contemporary styles. Our second record “Ascensión” (2019) welcomes a new set of core collaborators, including Lisa Littlebird and Glen Phillips on vocals. I produced this record, and composed or collaboratively composed eight of the songs. Several years later, I still love the way it sounds. I was deeply inspired for this project by Anoushka Shankar’s flamenco-fusion record “Traveler” and the Sitar-Guitar duets and harmonies.
